We take great pride in designing, printing, and embroidering the majority of our products in-house at our dedicated factory.

At the heart of our operation is professional-grade screen printing. Our veteran printing team ensures that designs are executed to precise specifications, resulting in vibrant, long-lasting prints. Our collaborative team of artists and researchers spend their days brainstorming, designing, and illustrating new concepts, creating a steady flow of unique and engaging apparel.
To achieve the highest quality finish, we utilize industry-leading inks that are both vibrant and durable, with a focus on safety and non-toxicity. Our top-of-the-line printing equipment, made in the USA just outside of Chicago, allows us to apply prints in a crisp, smooth manner, time after time. Properly calibrated ovens then cure the prints, ensuring they won't fall apart or cause damage to the shirt fibers, which can lead to a scratchy, uncomfortable feel.
Behind the scenes, our in-house software teams have developed systems to closely monitor for any quality control issues, enabling us to consistently deliver products that meet our customers' expectations in terms of size, print accuracy, and packaging.
The story of the Ann Arbor T-shirt Company began as a small dorm room project between two friends at the University of Michigan. Today, we take great pride in our products, which are made with a focus on sustainability, ethical production, and supporting the local community. From the materials we use (mostly US-grown cotton) to our fair employment practices, we strive to be a responsible, forward-thinking brand that offers customers fun and expressive apparel options.
